What is QT800™?

QT800 is an Organic Cooling Tower Treatment, designed for open recirculation cooling systems. Consisting of an all-organic blend of scale and corrosion inhibitors, it has no heavy metals, has five different inhibitors including one specifically designed for copper corrosion protection. Whereas other inhibitors contain heavy metals such as chromium, zinc, molybdenum and are subject to environmental discharge regulations. QT800 is completely organic, fast acting and protects your equipment.

What are the advantages of QT800™?

Increased cycling without pH control

For example, with normal skin temperature cooling systems using lake Ontario as makeup water, four cycles of concentration can be achieved without scale formation. Experience has shown that in the case of a system that has experienced calcium carbonate scaling, QT 800 will slowly remove any existing scale and restore optimum heat transfer efficiency.

Completely Organic, Highly Effective

Corrosion coupon testing has been done in well-controlled cooling systems and the results consistently reflect 1 - 2 mils. per year for carbon steel, which is considered excellent for an all organic treatment.
