Bob has pioneered the environmental vision for cleaning products since the early 1980’s. With a long list of roles in chemical engineering at Molson Brewers, NHC, Multi-Blend Ltd., Admiral Inc. and now QWATRO Corporation, Bob has been at the forefront of environmental manufacturing and product development within the cleaning and sanitation industry.


Bob recognized the need for environmentally friendly cleaning products earlier than most and created some of the very first formulations using renewable, regrowable plant-based resources for commercial industries in the early 1980’s. At that time, Bob was also focused not only on the product but in reducing the overall environmental impact by reducing packaging and improving packaging materials.

At QWATRO Corporation, the company that Bob Wagner launched in 2001 and the manufacturers of the popular CleanPLANET™ commercial and retail product lines, the mission is to continue this vision by providing solutions for a sustainable future™. CleanPLANET™ was developed as a re-brand and retail line extension from its already established and highly successful commercial line of green cleaning products being used in a variety of industrial environments including airports, hospitals and educational facilities across North America.

Bob’s trailblazing initiatives include being the first to realize the value of Ecologo Certification in North America’s most prominent green certification program, the first in North America to receive certification of Biological cleaner using beneficial microbes and enzymes to clean, and now boasts one of the largest number of green cleaning categories accredited by the Ecologo program.
