EcoTerra™ represents Qwatro’s 5th generation Acid Replacement Technology. Qwatro's Chief Chemist Bob Wagner developed the 1st Generation EnviroTerra in 1997. A water treatment specialist, Bob discovered a compound that could be used as an alternative during his work to improve acid inhibitors for the water treatment industry. Up until then, only acid – mainly hydrochloric acid –could remove and prevent the build up of scale in boilers and cooling towers.”

Non-corrosive as defined and tested in accordance with the U.S. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard Biodegradable. The test method used was Part 507 Oxygen Demand (Biochemical) of the Standard Methods for Examination of Water and Wastewater,1985, 16th Ed.
An effective replacement for hydrochloric acid which is typically used in hard surface cleaning of concrete, tile and grouting; and an effective replacement for organic acids which are typically used as bowl, bath, tub and tile cleaners. Its metal corrosion rate is also 1/10th of the minimum standard required by OSHA, DOT and TDG minimum standard for corrosiveness when tested in accordance with NAC Standard TMO169-76.

How Does EcoTerra™ Work?
EcoTerra™ works like an Acid, but is NOT AN ACID. It is NON-CORROSIVE and NON-CAUSTIC. EcoTerra™ cleans hard to remove rust stains, oxidation, tough water scale and mineral deposits such as calcium, magnesium carbonate as well as BioTerra eliminates oxidationsoap scum, mildew, mold, and lime. EcoTerra™ out performs acid based products and is completely safe for the user and the environment.
EcoTerra™ is completely safe. It is non-Toxic, non- corrosive and non-acid. that easily removes oxidation from a penny. This would usually require an aggressive acid based cleaner.
BioZyme™ microbes are selected using an Enzyme Plate Reader which provides the most rapid and accurate data generation to quickly screen large numbers . First there is a selection of the best strains for the job. The strains are selected by highly developed techniques. Then these super strains go through selective adaption so that their capabilities are enhanced. The synergeistic blending of these super microbes then assures maximum activity in drain and grease interceptors.
